One of the things I love are statement necklaces. A statement necklace is perfect to enhance the outfit, and the perfect finishing to a simple outfit. You don't need any other jewelry if you wear this. Here are some of my picks.

Clutches - the extra "ommpfh" to the outfit

What's more hot right now than clutches and envelope purses? They come in all shades, shapes and colors, and we want to share some of our favorites with you. Especially the ones from Alexander McQueen with head skulls on top are popular right now. Even though they are super expensive, you can always get inspiration and find something similar in stores or ebay.

I like how this simple, yet elegant clutch goes with the outfit. Gives a classy touch to it!

For some reason I got inspired by my mums peacock clutch from the 80s that she got from my dad, and I found something similar. Also peacock patterns are in at the moment, so this clutch is perfect.

A simple, leather pink clutch could go well with a black blazer and jeans-outfit. Gives that extra "ooompfh" to the look.

Wild Flower

I wanted to show you guys this eyeshadow color called Wild Flower from Bare Minerals, which is one of my favorites. It has a translucent effect, so whenever light reflects on the eyelid, the eyeshadow will slightly change color. Pretty cool, huh? You can get this at the Bare Minerals store at Ala Moana Center, Nordstrom or Sephora in Honolulu. I bought it for $ 13. You can also buy it online here.

Wanna tease?

So I found this perfume called Tease Noir from Victoria's Secret that we just adore! They have a Tease Noir Collection including body mist and body lotion. The perfume smells of a "twist of juicy fruits and seductive florals. It's an enchanting blend of black vanilla, frozen pear and blooming gardenia" (as described on their webpage). I bought the body mist yesterday, and I just love the smell of it. The fragrance is really ENCHANTING!

Welcome to our Beauty From Paradise-blog

Aloha,

First of all, e como mai (which means "welcome" in Hawaiian) to our Beauty From Paradise-blog. We are proud to present our very first beauty blog to you. We have been thinking about making a blog for a while now, and we both knew we wanted it to be about beauty (and not fashion), since we love beauty. That is our main focus here.

I ("Pineapple") remember ever since I was a kid, I used to use my mum's lipstick try her high heels and dress up in her clothes. In my early teenage years I turned more into a tom-boy. It was not until several years later that I started to show interest in beauty again. I have tried a lot of products and make-up over the years, and I have found some of my favorites through testing these things. We both have.

We will try to share our hot tips, new trends, both affordable and expensive products, accessories, and nevertheless beauty from paradise.
